Details:
The user attempts to perform a Release To Ledger process and receives an error message that a release is ‘In Progress’. This may be caused by an interrupted Release To Ledger process – either the power to the user’s PC was lost, or the user’s PC locked-up and they had to boot out of the process, or another type of abort occurred.
Resolution/Workaround:
The solution is to go the main Accounts Payable screen, select File, then select Defaults, then Accounting, then Release to Ledger, then press the Reset button. This should reset the process and allow it to be started again.
