Error: AP Release To Ledger missing journal type

Summary:
During the process of releasing information from AP to GL, the system displays an error message as follows:

A GL journal type is needed for all bill-to-locations being released to ledger.

Details:
The process of release to ledger from AP may yield an error message, especially if a new Location Code has been added and this is the first release after doing so.  The system needs to know how to treat the transactions when they are pushed to GL, and if the Journal Type is missing, this error message will be displayed. “ A GL journal type is needed for all bill-to-locations being released to ledger.”

Resolution/Workaround:
The solution is to go to the main screen in AP, Defaults, Location.  Then select the location code for the BILL TO location code referenced in the error message - which in this case is RH06E0.  Then select the appropriate GL Journal Type from the drop-down list.  The recommended choice is PAYABLES.
