Summary:
When executing a BizInsight function, this error message appears:
System.InvalidOperationException: This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms.

Details:
FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard) is a U.S. governmental computer security standard created to authorize cryptographic modules. Some workstations can have security settings configured to require FIPS compliance and therefore cause our add-in to fail when executed if the settings are not updated...

We employ cryptographic algorithm of SHA1RSA (RSA 1024) which is FIPS-2 compliant.

Resolution/Workaround:
If your security settings require FIPS compliance, you must update to Windows XP Service Pack 3 in order to use BizInsight. Windows XP Service Pack 3 includes an update to FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms (FIPS-1 to FIPS-2).
