HowTo: Prevent drill down on a BizInsight function

There may be certain accounts that you do not want users to be able to drill down on in a BizInsight report.  Preventing drill down on a particular function can be easily accomplished by doing the following:

1. Open the Formula Editor for the function that you want to prevent drill down on and delete the values in the Drill Down parameter of the Arguments section.
2. Click OK to close the Formula Editor.

If you want to prevent a user from re-adding the drill down targets to the function, you can use Excel’s cell protection capability to prevent a user from being able to modify that particular function.  Microsoft provides an article describing how this can be done.
