Summary:
When refreshing a BizInsight report that retrieves data for 7 or more companies, the following error occurs:

Error: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "mas90_010" returned message "[ProvideX][ODBC Driver][FILEIO]Unable to allocate memory to perform requested operation".

The refresh continues when the OK button for the error message is clicked but additional errors may occur until the refresh is complete.

Details:
This is a known issue that appears to be caused by a memory allocation issue of the ProvideX driver.   This issue has been reported as Issue # 397 “Error: [ProvideX][ODBC Driver][FILEIO]Unable to allocate memory to perform requested operation”.

Resolution/Workaround:
To workaround the issue, use the provided BuildCompanyCache.xlsb workbook.  This workbook contains a macro that will insert a pause between the creation of each company’s data cache.  Once the data caches have been created, your existing report can be opened and refreshed against the in memory data cache without error.

Instructions on how to use this workbook are contained within the workbook.
