Summary:
After installing and configuring BizInsight, the following error occurs when opening Excel:

"Error: System.Xml
BizAddIn.AddinModule error: the add-in has fired an exception"

The details for the error contain the following section:

Exception Type: System.Xml.XmlException
Exception Message: Root element is missing.
Exception Target Site: Throw

Details:
This error can occur if the license file is damaged or incomplete.

Resolution/Workaround:
To resolve this issue, check your license file in your shared network directory.  If it is 0 KB, replace it with a new copy.  The license file should be 1 KB.
