BizInsight for MAS500 allows for users to reference multiple databases within a single Excel worksheet. The BizInsight functions are designed to be able to reference a database parameter for the desired database.
Step 1. Follow the Installation Guide to set up your MAS500.conn file. This will be your default connection if no database parameter is designated.
Step2. Edit a new Mas500.conn with the alternate database connection information and rename it appropriately. For example, TestDB.conn will point to a different database than the MAS500.conn (this will then become TestDB.encrypted once referenced in Excel)
Step 3. In Excel, the user can now reference “TestDB” in the connection parameter of the formula editor.
