Error: “Key not valid for use in specified state”

Summary:
When starting Excel after BizInsight has been installed, the following error occurs:
“Key not valid for use in specified state” or “Object does not exist”
Details:
This error can occur when one of the files in the user’s RSA directory cannot be created. The RSA directory can be found in different locations depending on the workstation’s operating system.
Windows XP:
[profile directory] \Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA
Vista/Windows 7 platform:
[profile directory] \[profile type]\App Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA
Resolution/Workaround:
To resolve this issue, do the following:
1. Close Excel.
2. Browse to the RSA directory.
3. Be sure to create a back up of these files as a precaution.
4. Remove all files in the RSA directory.
5. Open Excel and see if the error has been eliminated.
